Why We Love Florida

My husband and I have traveled from Oregon to Florida five times in the last several years because we absolutely love to vacation there, even more than in Mexico and Hawaii which are shorter flights for us, AND (gasp) we’ve never been to Walt Disney World Florida.

Prior to having a child, we really enjoyed Marquesa. The service is amazing and the surrounding neighborhood provides great evening walks and quaint dinner locations.

After having a child, we had the best time at Tranquility Bay in Marathon Key. Wow, such a gorgeous place and the condo is perfect for those traveling with kids.

This summer we went to Club Med Sandpiper in Port St. Lucie. While this Club Med location isn’t nearly as nice as others, like the one in Ixtapa, the opportunity to enroll your child in Kids Club, have all your meals cooked and cleaned-up by someone else, plus have free drinks included in the affordable price cannot be beat.

It’s a true break for parents & the reason why we love Florida.
