How to Travel With Kids to Florida!!

Here are some great tips for traveling with kids to Florida we found through information, articles, and experience that will assist you in planning and having a wonderful vacation.

Travel with kids to Florida or anywhere offers an extra set of challenges, but can offer some of the most precious memories that last a lifetime.

The good news is that babies and toddlers are easily pleased - our son wouldn't leave
the beach because of the sand and crashing sounds of the waves.

Perhaps a relaxing Florida getaway is just what you need with your little ones and during certain
times of the year you can save a ton of money, relax, and enjoy the red-carpet treatment from high quality resorts.

Here is what we mean...

**Resorts are providing more amenities for young kids and babies. Instead of packing all your necessities such as high chairs, cribs, etc, various resorts are now offering programs and kits that make traveling easier.

**Various facilities are adding kid-friendly pools, Florida water parks, and activities. I know we stayed at a Marriott resort that had daily activities for kids including t-shirt making, guitar hero contests, and beach fun.

I had seen where infant programs are offered so the parents can get some time away to sit by the pool. These programs can range from a few hours of time to offering a nanny for your entire stay.

Personally, we took our nephew with us to hang out with our son so we could spend some time together.

**Back to school season has shown resorts and hotels to provide even better deals and programs when traveling with small children or babies. This is because older kids are back to school and Florida hurricane season happens to be during August through October (roughly).

To fill their rooms and make sure Florida travelers are happy, these companies are getting creative with their offers. Be sure to read thoroughly before booking if a resort/stay has what you need.

**You may want to consider Disney World and/or their discount cruises.

Disney is always kid-friendly no matter what age and they will go all out for you and your children. They have become quite creative and thoughtful even for families with babies.

The Magic Kingdom is most notable for this, but all the parks seem to be offering areas for little ones as well as rentals, travel time, and other pros.

Traveling with little ones does involve some proper planning. However, with the gear today, it has become much easier and since
Florida vacation sites and resorts/hotels are wanting to welcome the wee-one's, travel as a family is much more relaxing and convenient than it was years ago.

Bottom line: Don't be afraid to have a great Florida vacation with your little ones. Why wait til they are 5, 6+ before having a good time. We went with our little one when he was 2 and it turned out perfect!
