On a personal note, once we ventured to Orlando Florida and
stayed at a Days Inn right near Universal Studio Florida.
It was an awesome stay to say the least.
This discount hotels Orlando had a giant pool to relax at during the day, very clean and quality rooms,
and my favorite part, a tiki bar to sip on cocktails at night. We were very close to shopping,
eateries, the theme parks (universal studio Florida, Disney World, Paradise Island, & the others), and City Walk. Plus, the other Orlando Florida attraction sites were only a couple
minutes away. This is just the kind of comfort you'll find in Orlando Florida!
With that being said, if you have

Make sure you do additional research on attractions and more. Orlando is so large that you could do a whole website just for the area. It is an amazing place filled with dreams and magic so be sure not to miss anything.

Orlando has some great shopping in the world and will be one of the things to do in Orlando Florida we recommend. Yes ladies, I said lots of great shopping! Sorry guys.
You could go there and just shop for the
entire Florida discount vacation, but we don't want you to miss out on everything else. You'll get some great deals too!!
What we did was load up
our wallets with cash & credit (with a budget in mind of course), and drove around to the various strip malls,
the Florida Mall, and other Outlet/Factory stores. I'll tell you we had a blast.
Personally, I hate
to shop (I do it all online, hence the website), but I had a great time, my wife didn't spend too much money (thank goodness),
and we went home with some great Orlando stuff for us and those we felt like buying gifts for.
You won't want to miss shopping as one of the things to do in Orlando Florida!! Guys if you get too tired there are usually cocktail joints in walking distance to sit, watch a game, and sip on a few drinks.
How about some tours and additional attractions for things to do in Orlando Florida? I know, your saying
there is already plenty to do, but trust me, there is always more. We just want to give
you options so you are never bored.
Two attractions we like, are the Skyscapes Balloon Tours and Disney
Cruise Line. You definitely won't want to miss these.
Skyscapes provides private
flights that are out of this world. The level of attention and service you'll get
is bar none. The cruise line is actually in Cocoa Beach Florida, but it is worth the trip.
It is great for the whole family, the ship is spectacular, and there is so much to do!
Next, how about playing some golf? Even though this site isn't all
about a cheap Florida golf vacation, we know that it is one of the many things to do in Orlando Florida that eveyone can enjoy, young & older (I didn't say old!!!).
There are about 30-50 golf courses in the area.
Pick one and go tear up the course. Whether you are good or not, you'll have
some fun hacking around any of the courses, enjoying some sun, and quality time.
Also, be sure to pick appropriate times...
You don't want to be stuck behind some slow pokes not letting you through (unless you
are one of those people...sorry then).
Just kidding, go have some fun on any of Orlando's beautiful golf courses.
Once your done running around Orlando Florida, sightseeing, playing golf, or
having fun at one of the major Florida attraction sites, you'll surely be hungry.
One great place to venture to is City Walk. It is one spot we suggest for things to do in Orlando Florida. There are restaurants, shopping, and
lots of exciting entertainment to enjoy your evening. Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville is over there, along
with Hard Rock Cafe (ate there twice). The atmosphere at both places was great and
so was the food and drinks. I can still taste that burger
and fruity hurricane (watch out, they'll hit you)!! Please enjoy a cold margarita for me, will you?
Also, check out Bahama Breeze.
We have one up here in the midwest. Not only do you get great food, but they have live entertainment.
You can enjoy the sounds and tastes of the Caribbean, all in one place, in the USA.
Emiril's Restaurant, White Wolf Cafe, Boston's Fish House, & Little Saigon are
also fan favorites in Orlando.
Nearby Florida beaches. If you are going to Orlando, but love the beach,
then why not do both? There are so many things to do in Orlando Florida, but
if you are like me, you want to spend a day or two relaxing on one of the beautiful
beaches of Florida.
For instance, one sunny day we ventured over to Cocoa Beach Florida (one of the Florida east central coast beaches). It was
about 50 miles away and with a convertible, wasn't a bad drive. There, we
had fun on the sandy Florida beaches, playing in the ocean, and checking out
Ron Jon's Surf Shop.
Another day, we headed west towards Clearwater Beach (one of the Florida West Coast Gulf beaches).
From Orlando, the gulfcoast Florida beaches are about 75 miles away. If you like calmer waters and
white sand beaches, you'll love the gulfcoast.
This way, you get to have fun
at Walt Disney World, play some golf, sightsee, and relax on one of the many Florida
beaches. If you decide to do this highly recommended activity, and drive over
to a beach, you'll want to remember to pack a few of these beach items.
