The Beaches of South Walton on Scenic 30A

Sunset on Florida Beaches
Our family has vacationed at many different beaches over the years including Hilton Head, Myrtle Beach, Ft. Lauderdale Beach, Daytona Beach, the Clearwater Florida Beaches, Ft. Meyers Beach and Naples Florida.
Learn all about the Emerald Coast
All of them very beautiful and enjoyable, but in all honesty they can not match the beauty of Florida's Emerald Coast and specifically the array of sugar white sand beaches and the magnificent upscale coastal villages along Scenic 30A.
When Dr. Beach rated Grayton Beach the number one beach we just had to see for ourselves, so we headed for the Beaches of South Walton. We rented a condo right on Seagrove Beach called The Palms of Seagrove, featuring an incredible, unobstructed view of the Gulf of Mexico and yes, the water really is emerald green and the sand is pure and clean.
Seagrove Beach, more of an old world community, nestles up to the very upscale community of Seaside, which you really have to experience to believe.
For example; my husband and I bought a bottle of wine and some ready made sandwiches from the Modica Market and had a picnic right there on the lawn.
There are many unique stores and restaurants to also enjoy. Don't forget to watch the sunset from the roof top deck of Bud and Alley's Restaurant, a local favorite.
On Thirty-A you will not find high rises, big box stores, fast food restaurants, or crowded beaches, just old world charm and elegance. We have returned every year since 1995.
