Come Visit St Augustine Florida, The Beaches, Attractions, & This Amazing Vacation Spot!!

st augustine florida beach

St Augustine Florida is a town for you history buffs! Come visit the oldest city in the USA and get a taste of Florida that you won't find elsewhere.

Perfect the romantic getaway, Saint Augustine offers a quieter setting with tons of great shopping, beautiful, white-sand beaches, and an active nightlife.

The European feel will make it seem like you're not in Florida, but in a village overseas. The buildings and atomosphere will blow you away!

So, let's get down to finding you a place to stay, things to do, and more in St Augustine Florida...

Saint Augustine Beach Lodgings

You really can't go wrong with a place to stay here, it is actually tough choosing a spot.

We recommend going with a bed and breakfast or vacation villa of sorts. The Victorian House B&B in the heart of the historic district is within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and the water.

The Carriage Way B&B is another excellent spot where you will be remembered by the friendly people. Perfect to wisk your loved one off their feet.

You can go with a hotel and have a good time, but if you want the full effect of St Augustine and the beaches, you should look into a home or resort to rent.

Things to do in St Augustine Florida

If you love sightseeing, golfing, relaxing on the beach, and historical spots you will love this place.

You have to visit the museums and lighthouses, take a few of the guided tours, and venture over the The Oldest House!

I didn't get a chance to play golf because we were only there for a day, but a few tourists mentioned how that's all their husbands were doing while the ladies were shopping in the gift shops, galleries, and antiquing.

If you feel like scuba diving or swimming with dolphins, then check out Marineland or look into a charter.

If you want a day trip, Jacksonville Beach and Daytona Beach are less than an hour away!

Where to Eat in St Augustine Florida

Whether you like French pastries or not, you must eat at Denoel's. You will be hooked. Schooners Seafood House (try the fried shrimp) or Saltwater Cowboys is the place if you are hungary for seafood.

There are a good number of restaurants and cafe's to choose from. Whether you are in the mood for American, Contemporary, Seafood, or European your mouth will be watering at any of the Saint Augustine eateries.
