Spring break night in Ft Myers

I was on a school camping trip to southern FL.

The last night of the trip we got to the hotel and went out to eat. We decided later to go out for "a few" and get in early by 10 or 11.

Well, we had to take a 20 year old back to the hotel, and by the time we got out it was 10.

We start at one place and have a few, then move onto another bar. At that place I drank 3 giant beers and 3 giant Margaritas in 3 hours.

Everyone is having so much fun and carrying on and we stay till closing time. At that point, no one called a taxi to come get us, so we walked and dragged ourselves over a 1/2 mile across the Ft Myers Beach bridge to get a taxi, just drunk as can be.

I could barely walk, but was not going to ask this 100 pound girl who was in our group to carry me.

We stumble in at 2AM. The next morning at breakfast everyone was recounting the night before, saying "that was rough," and "who's most fit to drive?"

This was because we had a 24 hour drive back to Wisconsin in a few hours. The funny part, and why it was so great: Before we left someone said "we'll be out in the bush for days, the walk directly onto 'MTV Spring Break' whoo!"

That's exactly what happened. I was so glad we didn't get yelled at by the school. Because of this great time we had, the president of the club does interviews with people before they are let on trips, and no drinking by anyone any trip after that.
