Discover The Beauty & Mystery of the Seas!!

Snorkeling & Scuba diving while on your Florida vacation can be one of the many things you do on your
trip. This is one activity you don't want to take lightly
though.
We aren't experts at Florida scuba diving. We just want to ensure your safety. If done right,
scuba diving in Florida is a miraculous adventure filled with beauty you won't see on
land!!
You can scuba dive or go snorkeling at any of the best Florida beaches. We have
seen Florida charters and shops to venture off into the seas at every Florida beach we have visited.
Our personal favorite was in the Key West Florida beaches. The waters there are breathtaking and offer
a vast array of wildlife. In fact, The Keys were
voted #1 for diving in Scuba Diving Magazine and the Key West Florida beaches were also voted the #6 place to go scuba diving or snorkeling in the United States!!

However, you will have fun taking a Florida snorkeling or scuba diving day trip
in whatever Florida beaches city you visit.
Enough chit chat, let's get down to keeping you safe...
Here are our top 10 tips for scuba diving in Florida...
10. Know the Florida seas are in charge.
9. Use common sense. They say common sense isn't that common anymore! Well, you'll
need it when you go scuba diving in Florida.
Be smart, don't be a cowboy, play it safe,
and you'll have a good time. Don't be like the couple in "Open Water," who were
left out at sea after a diving excursion.
8. Protect your skin, eyes, and rest of your body. You will be on a boat and
water does attract sun. Wear sunscreen, sunglasses, and the proper gear to protect yourself
in the water.
7. Know the Florida weather and the area you are going. Weather is an important aspect to pay attention
to- not just near shore, but out at sea also. If you are just going out for a fun
time, then go with an expert who knows the scuba diving in Florida areas.
6. Check the equipment. Whether you take your own or rent Florida scuba gear, make sure
you check it or have it checked.
5. Make sure you are fit to go scuba diving. Check with your physician. Although we hate to
mention it, there can be problems with scuba diving in Florida. You want to ensure you
are fit and healthy to dive.
Also, know which medications you may need or should take
before you dive or if something were to happen. Doing a little homework beforehand
will ensure you have a great time.
4. Always go on dive trips with a buddy. Also, we highly recommend going
out with an expert. Never go alone and remember tip #10.
Going scuba diving in Florida
with an expert that can easily assess your skill level will know what areas are best for you,
your family, and your friends.

the ropes.
