Hey, we areall busy in our daily lives. Work long hours, never see your significant other, kids to run here, run there, and so many other things on the list, that romance at home can quickly disintegrate.
My wife and I work opposite schedules, have one day off together, and now that we have a baby, romance is put on the back burner.
You know what I mean? You'd rather sit down after a long day and have dinner, a beer, and go to bed.
So with every chance we get, we scurry off for one of ourmany romantic Florida vacations. It is a great way to take an inexpensive vacation on a spontaneous whim and rekindle the love we've had to put off.
"Love is in the Air...Can you feel it?...Love is in the Air!!" Sorry, I'm just being dumb.
Let's get started with when to go...
You can enjoy romantic Florida vacations all year around. However, we just want to note a few points about each season.
During the months of June through August, it will be a bit warmer. If you plan on relaxing by the Florida beaches or pools and enjoy talking about the beauty of Florida and have conversations you've needed to catch up on, then this is the best time.
Also, a lot of people are on Florida summer vacations during these times, so expect your private time to be less when out in public.
August through October is Florida hurricane season. We have personally had great romantic Florida vacations during these times, but be careful. Hey, you might just end up in the room the whole time - not so bad right!!
March through May is spring break time, so pick your Florida beaches destination wisely. The last thing you want is to take a romantic walk on the beach while some college student is passed out in the sand. Otherwise, you should have fabulous weather during these months.
Finally, November through February are obviously the holidays. Plenty of Florida travelers (especially the snowbirds), but plenty of great weather and fun.
We aren't trying to deter you on when to go, just informing you of what you might expect for any romantic Florida vacations. Just be sure to plan appropriately to get the Florida travel deal and amenities you want.

Some spots are catered for Florida family vacations, some for young-college aged kids, and some for the young at heart. We are going to mention our favorite Florida destinations for finding love & romance.
Clearwater Beach Florida: Of all the Florida spots, this is our favorite.
Others will say Destin, Englewood, The Keys, but we pick the Clearwater Florida beaches. We have enjoyed about 4 Florida vacationsthere over the past decade.
The beaches are white and spectacular to walk, sun-bathe, and watch the sun rise and set. We usually go there to relax and enjoy quality time together more than anything.
Destin Florida Beach Front: Destin is another quiet spot that couples venture to for romantic Florida vacations.It has been a long time since we've been there, but close relatives go thereevery year. One of our family members even has two Florida waterfront properties there.
Choosing Destin will give you a luxurious time with great beaches, wonderful breaks, beautiful scenery, and plenty to do together.
Englewood Florida: My parents swear by Englewood. Here is what they say about this little knowntreasure...
My husband and I have going down to Florida for the last 8 years. We have found a quaint place called Englewood. It is located south of Venice (about 15 minutes) and about 35-40 minutes from Sarasota.
The condos and hotels are no higher than 3 stories. Our condo that we rent is right on the beach-I can throw my blanket down to where I will sit on the beach from my balcony. Its a quiet area to watch the dolphins , and great during Tarpon fishing season.
It is also known for the large turtle laying their eggs. It is not one of the big spring break areas but very restful and relaxing.The food choices are numerous and in driving distance. We have visited many other cities while we house in Englewood. We have gone to Ft. Myers, Porta Gorda, Venice, Sarasota, Tampa (Busch Gardens), Siesta Key, and even made a full day trip to the Keys.
We walk the beach and collect sharks teeth, walk up and down the beach watchingthe sunset. If you are looking for a peaceful Florida vacation, I recommend Englewood Florida highly.
We have stayed either at El Galeon or The Boardwalk. The El Galeon was great for my husband and I, but we found when we had several people with us to share one condo, we thought the Boardwalk fit the bill.
West Palm Beach Florida: We spent our honeymoon here. We stayed in a Marriott resort- Florida time share. It was luxuriousand right on the beach.
There we had two pools, jacuzzis, a tiki bar to sip drinks togetherby the pool, a private entrance to the Florida beaches, and 5-star service.
We enjoyed driving down billionaires row (A1A) and taking that tour. The homes are unbelievable. The food and shopping on Worth Avenue was the best we'd ever enjoyed.We recommend Ta-Boo if you can get in.
This is one of the romantic Florida vacations you will need a bit of extra money to enjoysome of the attractions, but it was worth every penny.
Miami Florida and The Florida Keys We spent a week in Miami and a day on the Key West Florida beaches. Miami was absolutely breathtaking.We stayed in a little condo on North Beach (about 15 min from South Beach Florida).
The crystal clear water on the white sand beaches were perfect. We rented a Mitsubishi Eclipse Spider for the week and drove around enjoying the lights and attractions of Miami. This is one of our favorite things to do as a couple - drive around and take in the wonder that is Florida.
Dancing, shopping, & romantic, candlelight dinners were a few activities you can enjoyon Ocean Drive. We went more for quiet, but whether you want quiet or romantic fun, you'll find it in South Beach.
Key West Fl was a day trip we took. The water, beaches, & overall atmosphere was beautiful.
There we enjoyed spending time shopping around for souvenirs, drinking on Duval Street, riding scooters down the side streets,had a wonderful dinner at Outback Steakhouse (I know, they are a nationalchain, but we couldn't get in anywhere else), and listened to the sounds ofKey West and the Caribbean at a local watering hole.
The best part was the drive down the one lane highway- we got an awesome tan.
Key West is wonderful for activities to do as a couple. There are so many different types of people that just hanging out watching people was a blast too.
Orlando Florida Orlando is our last romantic place to mention. We have dedicated an entire areato Orlando. There is a lot of excitement, but also plenty of romance there.It's our final favorite for romantic Florida vacations.
There are so many great destinations to choose for your romantic Florida vacations that each spot is unique in its own right.
Get married, renew your vowels, take your honeymoon there, take off on a cruise, enjoy the history, individual shopping and eateries, and so much more.
People say you can find this anywhere and I'll agree to some extent, but not for the price and not for the wonder that is Florida.
