Below You'll See Why the Miami Florida Beaches & South Beach is a Hot Spot!
We have written a lot about the Miami Florida beaches and South Beach
throughout our site, but we just wanted to add some more tidbits for those
of you that don't want to search our site for info.
You've heard the stories, seen this hot vacation spot on tv, and dreamed of mingling
with the beautiful, rich, and famous people of the world.
They flock from all over to party in Miami and now it's your turn. Most people
think of South Beach as the spot to go. While that may be true, South Beach is
only a short stretch of area. You can head north for about 20 miles and still
get the feel and atmosphere Miami Florida beaches offer.
If you are taking your youngins down to this part of Florida, we suggest you migrate
a little farther North, especially if you are wanting a more relaxing vacation
without all the topless beaches and wild parties.
In fact, we stayed in North Beach in a quaint condo overlooking a beautiful
stretch of sandy beaches and clear Atlantic seas.
We were close enough to South Beach to head there, very close to all the attractions,
and our stay was much quieter.
If you want to stay in the Art Deco district or on Ocean Blvd (the street
you see in many pictures facing the Atlantic Ocean) then head to South Beach.
You'll be amazed by the architecture and people. Plus you are in walking distance
to practically everything- restaurants, shopping, beaches, hotels, and so on.
Bottom line is the Miami Florida Beaches are exactly what a beach is supposed to be,
fun, lots of action, lots of hot bodies, beautiful water & beach, and attractions galore.
It's definitely not a remote Caribbean Island, so plan accordingly.
So, let's journey through Miami and see what is going on!
Miami Florida Beaches Hotels
You will find hotels and accomodations on the beachfront spanning miles along
Collins Ave. & other major roads. From Donald Trump's hotels, to tiny condos you will have plenty
of choices to fit any budget.
For
South Beach Hotels, we suggest you review our section on which hotels
are traveler favorites.
If you plan on staying further North, we recommend you searching for a
rental by owner. That is what we found and it was perfect for our week of rest!
Things to do on the Miami Florida Beaches
What is there not to do? You should plan on spending money here, that is for sure.
You can take in the scenery and the area around the whole Miami area. Hit the beaches
during the day and do some suntanning, people watching, volleyball, exercising,
walking, and all the fun you can handle.
Put your party hat on at night and cruise around town visiting the different
restaurants, watering holes, shops, and sightsee.
If you are up for it, we suggest renting a convertible one day and heading down Highway 1
to Key West. Another day we headed North to
Ft. Lauderdale to see what their beach was all about- worth the drive.
You can do anything your imagination allows. It is definitely a fantasy land
and if you have the cash, you can do all your heart wants!
Miami is such a big city, there is too much to list. The key thing about planning
a trip to the Miami Florida beaches is to research and read plenty of reviews
on hotels, restaurants, attractions, and so forth.
