Gulf Coast Beach Madeira Beach Sunset

Let's tour Madeira Beach Florida together and see what this great beach destination is all about...

Madeira Beach in Florida has crystal clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico, sandy white beaches and some of the most spectacular sunsets you have ever seen (just check out the picture above or visit the pictures of Florida beaches section).

Where to Stay in Madeira Beach Florida...

Lodging will never be a problem for you and your family. There are many affordable hotels, condos and rental properties directly on the beach.

For example, the Schooner Motel and the Holiday Isles Resort, both on Gulf Boulevard, are very inexpensive hotels for families on a budget.

More expensive beach front lodging includes Surf Song Resort Hotel, Madeira Vista Condominiums and Sea Breeze Condominiums. You can do an online search to find even more places to stay in every price range as this are just a few that have been recommended. Be sure to do your own research on reviews as well.

Where to Eat in Madeira Beach...

There are many fine dining establishments in Madeira Beach Florida. One of the most popular is Lisa's Cafe of Madeira on Gulf Blvd. Lisa serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner and late night American Cuisine.

Another favorite eating spot is Mario's Italian Restaurant also on Gulf Blvd. Both are wonderful for families with children as well as romantic evenings for two. They are also amenable to entertaining clients and conducting business over dinner.

For seafood and local cuisine you may want to try Dockside Dave's on Gulf Blvd or Waltz Fish Shak on Boardwalk Place in Johns Pass Village. You can also find French cuisine at the Gulf Bistro, Japanese food at the Osaka Sushi Bar and Thai food at Thai-am. There are also a number of coffee shops and ice cream parlors for in-between meal indulgences!

What to Do in Madeira Beach...

The white sand of Madeira Beach itself is one of the main attractions of the area. Most folks see dolphins every day playing off shore and there are tons of different shells for collectors.

For water sports try Gators Parasailing on Boardwalk Place for a great parasailing adventure or Fly-N-High on Boardwalk Place to try riding a waverunner as well as parasailing.

Madeira Beach Florida may be best known for John's Pass Village, a world-famous turn-of-the-century fishing village located on the waterfront.

This quaint village offers tempting and unique restaurants along with special shops that offer arts, crafts, antiques, clothing, jewelry and other treasures.

Other great finds here include the local fishing fleet, boat rentals, dolphin watching tours, deep-sea fishing trips and snorkeling expeditions. It is a place that should not be missed on any trip to Florida!
