Key Biscayne Florida Island

Key Biscayne - Hidden Florida Treasure

Key Biscayne - Hidden Florida Treasure

Key Biscayne Florida - Island Living at it's finest...

The blue-gray waters of Biscayne Bay pull you into it's grasp as you can't help but feel pure tranquility.

As you sit and watch the Bay you'll notice the Seagulls flying in droves looking for their next meal. You'll
also notice fisherman doing the same thing.

Bonefishing is what they call it and both people and Florida beaches wildlife come in droves to catch and eat.

If you're looking to hit Key Biscayne Florida for a vacation, the more popular time of year has to be between November and July as this is when the Northerners venture down, locals come out to play, and the weather is perfect.

25 miles of water spread across the beauty of Biscayne Bay National Park, one of 22 Keys north of Key Largo that can be accessed by boat, and unbelievable natural events that you must not miss.

The seven-mile-long island was once Miami's exclusive or secret Key that is accessed by the Causeway and bridges.

It became a hot spot due to it's closeness to the city yet exclusiveness from the main tourism of the Miami Florida beaches.

It's not abnormal to find joggers, strollers, and other Floridians venturing around the village.

One spot that seemed quite popular were the outdoor malls that housed most of the businesses and lots of folks who loved to shop.

Within this area you'll find fabulous cuisine with your choice of Colombian, short ribs, seafood, and a few other fine choices.

You'll certainly want to get recommendations in regards to the best local spots when you travel to Key Biscayne.

With 10,000 residents on the island and very few places to stay (try the Ritz-Carlton as it will be your best option), if one of the few hotels is unavailable, you may strike a deal by staying in one of the lavish homes for your trip.

At the Ritz you can expect an amazing stay filled with the taste of tequila, smell of cigars as they fill the night air, that is lit by the natural wonders of the sea and sky as well as tiki torches all around.

Plus you can't miss the sounds of the island as local music whisks you away from your worries.

Find your Key Biscayne vacation rental ASAP!!

When you're ready to explore a bit and enjoy 2 miles of the best beaches in Florida, you'll certainly want to head over to Crandon Park.

At the tip of the island is Bill Baggs State Park that features the light house, some of the best swimming around, and a couple of local watering holes.

To end your Key Biscayne Florida vacation, you'll want to take a day or two and charter a sailing vessel to venture out into the Atlantic or the Bay. There is no better tribute to your trip than a sailing adventure.

To sum up the island in a few words - as one local sailor told us, "life here is easy."
