You Will Have an Excellent Time with a Gulfcoast Florida Beachfront Vacation!!

Compare Florida Beaches & Florida West Coast Gulf Beaches...

A Gulfcoast Florida beachfront vacation is the ultimate-good time!! If you have never visited the beaches along the Gulf of Mexico, then I have one question for you...
Why Not?The Gulfcoast Florida Beachfront is Spectacular

All along the gulfcoast, take your pick of beautiful spots to travel with your family (some of the best Florida family beaches are in this area), significant other, or friends.

The beaches are spectacular, the ocean is one of nature's wonders, there are plenty of activities- ranging from fun things to do (day trips, parasailing, golfing, jetskiing, bicycle riding on Florida beaches, fishing Florida beaches, etc.), to romance (sunsets, walks on the Florida sugar sand beaches, romantic dining), to relaxation (sun tanning, collecting shells on the best beaches for shelling in Florida, hanging out on your beachfront patio), to whatever your heart desires.

All I'm saying is that you can't go wrong with a Gulfcoast Florida beachfront vacation. We have visited numerous beaches on west coast Florida and want to share some of our experiences here, as well as experiences of other travelers...

So, what are we waiting for...
LET'S GO VISIT SOME OF THE BEST BEACHES IN FLORIDA!!!

Our first stop brings us to our favorite Gulfcoast Florida beachfront spot...

Florida Beaches in the Clearwater Beach Area:

This area includes Tampa Bay & Saint Petersburg. What do we love about this region? Where do we start? First off it offers some of the best beaches in Florida and has been rated as some of the best Florida family beaches.

The sun seems to always shine...
we have never had a bad trip. These Florida beaches are huge and full of beautiful sand to play and run in. We used to wake up early and jog along the shoreline. The sand was packed nicely and we'd watch the sun come up while getting our excercise. Hey, if you don't like to exercise, then walk or go bicycle riding on Florida beaches and enjoy quality time by yourself or with someone.

We also never miss the sunsets along the pier. They have some cool putt-putt and if you enjoy playing golf, then take your pick of top notch courses. You can hang out at the public beaches along the Gulfcoast Florida beachfront or take a short drive and find some really neat Florida secluded beaches.

Be sure to check out Crabby Bills for some killer seafood, Columbia Restaurant for top of the line South American Cuisine, or choose from many other dining spots that have great food, unbelievable views, and nightly entertainment.

If shopping is your fancy, you will find some great gift shops to venture in. We also enjoyed driving up and down the coast and doing some sightseeing (be sure you get your map of beaches in Florida).

Also, the Marine Aquarium was a great attraction and you may want to check out the local parks.

You can also venture over to Orlando from here (or from any of these Gulfcoast areas for that matter) for a great Day trip, or visit many of the attractions Tampa has to offer, such as Busch Gardens or the Florida Aquarium.

Or, you could venture over to St. Petersburg. This is a place that I went to when I was very young and is a great family Gulfcoast Florida beachfront vacation spot. All I remember is a crab bit my toe...so as we get more stories and reviews on this area we will let you know!!

We have had an excellent Gulfcoast Florida Beachfront vacation here everytime. There is plenty to do whether you want excitement, relaxation, or romance. This is one of the best rated Florida beaches that will make everyone happy.

If you have never considered Clearwater- you should. Read why here!!

Ok...I am excited and ready to go back to the Florida beaches of Clearwater. However, there are so many other Gulfcoast Florida beachfront vacation spots, that we must mention a few more...

Beaches on West Coast Florida in Sarasota:

Sarasota & the Keys there are perfect for vacationsSarasota is more of a resort town. In fact my wife's parents absolutely love it here. We recently visited the Florida beaches of Sarasota and must add it to our list of gulfcoast Florida beachfront destinations as one of the best rated Florida beaches.

Come visit and read why we love Sarasota here!!

Longboat Key, Lido Key, & Siesta Key are right across the water from each other and have a number of sparkling beaches (these are three of the major beaches of Sarasota).

Reds fans like us enjoy going down there in March to watch spring training.

Make sure you eat at the Crab and Fin restaurant, spend a day at the Mote Aquarium, & visit Bay Front Park. You will find these Florida beaches to be uncrowded and relaxing entertainment all over the place.

Come visit Sarasota with us and see why it's an excellent vacation spot!

Here is a list of some other fabulous Gulfcoast Florida beachfront spots that you may want to consider...

  • Madeira Beach: We went here when I was young. We stayed in a cottage and enjoyed the pool and Florida beaches. I have heard it called the "island that is two miles long and a smile wide." Madeira beach offers many Florida secluded beaches and a great culture that you will enjoy.

  • Bradenton Beach: Dazzling white sand beaches with a ton to do, Bradenton is another awesome Florida West Coast Gulf beaches. The South Florida Museum and Red Barn Flea Market & Plaza were two experiences that we have heard rave reviews about. Be sure you don't miss out the food at Johnny Leverock's. We drove 45 minutes just to eat here and it was worth it. Plus, the drive up the coast is spectacular. They have great fishing Florida beaches, excellent beaches for shelling in Florida, and has been voted one of the best Florida family beaches!

We also want to mention some spots further south. There are even more spots along the Gulfcoast Florida beachfront, that a Florida West Coast Gulf beaches further down in southwest Florida may be what you want.
Just to name a few of the great Florida beaches further south include...

  • Englewood: A small, easy-going community along the Gulf. This is one of my parents hidden treasures, they almost didn't want me to share it with anyone. They have traveled there many times alone and with other couples. This town has everything you could want in a Gulfcoast Florida beachfront vacation...
without the crowds or costs (great Florida secluded beaches). Their story is featured in our Romantic Florida section.

  • Ft Myers Beach & Naples: Personally, we haven't been to Naples, but other travelers say it's one of Florida top 10 beaches! So, if you'd like to submit information about Naples, please contact us.
Fort Myers Florida beaches is a spot we stopped in for dinner and ventured around a bit. A friend of ours lived in Fort Myers for quite some time and said they have some of the best beaches in Florida.

Read about our night out and why you'd love Ft. Myers here!

That concludes our travels to the Gulfcoast Florida beachfront!! You honestly can't go wrong with any of these Florida beaches. Just make sure you spend time with us, reading reviews on hotels, finding great discounts on airlines and car rentals, and we will continue to add more, to serve you better.

Things that we highly recommend you do include, research the areas attractions (make a list of what you'd like to do), find great golf courses & fishing Florida beaches sites), find a place to stay that's close to the beach, try out the awesome seafood restaurants (all you can eat crab is my favorite), walk the beaches, spend time together, don't forget water sports (jet skis, parasail, boating), and ask around to locals- see what they suggest you do and what you should stay away from.

Also, sip some cocktails, while overlooking the ocean- My favorite activity!!
