Enjoy Some Florida Vacation Stories & Memories From Other Beach Nuts!

We love Florida so much and many of our friends and family have shared their Florida vacation stories, but there are millions of people who make this their travel destination of choice every year.

Since we get emails all the time and read various Florida vacation stories and memories online, we decided to build an ongoing section just to re-iterate why people love Florida and our site.

(Some Names have been left out by request).

This is an email I got from Danny:

**Clearwater Beach is my NUMBER 1 vacation "hotspot" i love clearwater beach so much that im already making my plans to move down there for school!

**This is from another Florida beach nut...
Florida has wonderful, beautiful weather, awesome beaches, wild nightlife (in many big cities) and lots of things to do. It's warm, there's a lot of good food and people, some great beaches, good shrimp, good fishing and alligators!

**I live in Florida near the coast and love the beach atmosphere, the sun, sugar white sand, waves, the seagulls, and dolphins off shore. You have that all year round and it doesn't get very cold here.

Some of these stories were from those Floridians who have made the beautiful state their home. It's great to hear from those who are there all year, but let's get back to a few more Florida vacation stories...

This is a great Florida vacation memory from one of our older visitors:

**You are never too old for Disney World. There are many rides that are not for "thrill seekers". The great thing about Disney World is that there are also shows to see. My suggestion would be to at least go to Epcot.

We enjoyed the World Showcase. And don't miss Soarin'. It is a ride, but you basically sit in front of a large screen and it gives you the illusion that you are hangliding over California. (my sister is 60, has trouble walking, and this is one of her favorites!) Also, visit the Living with the Land and the Living Seas -both in Epcot.

MGM and Animal Kingdom have some really nice shows, too. MGM has Beauty and the Beast, while Animal Kingdom has Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo. While these may sound like "kids" shows, these rival just about any Broadway production!!
