Discover the Rare Florida Nude Beaches and Nudist Resorts

Sorry for you folks who came here looking for Florida nude beaches pics. This is a family oriented Florida travel site, so we had to keep the adult features under wraps.

We do know that there are a huge number of travelers looking for nude beaches in Florida, so we thought a nice list would help.

Surprisingly, there are only a few legal Florida nude beaches although most people forgo the rules. There are many nudist resorts that you can enjoy as an alternative if that is your fancy.

Note that the laws change all the time so please be sure to double check with the local folks to determine which beaches are ok. Also, locals may know some great desserted beaches where you can enjoy being nude without hassle.

One word of warning is be cautious. We aren't responsible for any legality issues. There are other destinations you can visit around the world that have legal nude beaches without hassle.

Florida Nude Beaches:

On the Atlantic Coast of Florida is Apollo beach. Apollo Beach at New Smyrna Beach and also you have to go South of #6 walkover to go nude.

This is a beautiful beach. Remember that this is government property so we aren't sure how regulated they are.

Apollo is quite relaxing and a great place for nude enjoyment - so we hear. Also to mention, nearby Daytona offers naturist accommodations.

Haulover which is near Miami is another of the rare Florida nude beaches that's legal.

Haulover is a beautiful yet classy, clothing-optional beach, with lifeguards and police patrols. You will find friendly folks from all over settled in around the magnificent ocean. You can find a refreshment stand and some of the restaurants will deliver for FREE. If you head to South Florida, you wan't want to miss this one! The clothing-optional sections are well-marked and maintained by the county, so you can sun without fear.

The beach is located at Haulover County Park on Collins Ave. near 150th St.

The Keys There are no legal nude beaches in the Keys but top free is common on some Key West beaches. In fact we were on a couple of beaches where many Europeans were vacationing and topless was their sunbathing choice.

The Gulf Coast and Panhandle of Florida offers Navarre Beach between Pensacola and Fort Walton. The east end of this beach has been used as a nudist beach for a long time.

Also, the Gulf Island National Seashore offers miles of deserted Florida nude beaches where you can enjoy lounging in your birthday suit. We were told that you won't be hassled unless there are a number of non-nude people and children around. Be cautious though. Many nudists frequent both Santa Rosa Beach or Pensacola Beach at the Gulf Islands National Seashore, but both sites have been scenes of arrests.

Hobe Sound is a secluded spot where you'll find unbelievable multi-million dollar mansions, Cautious naturists can catch some rays in the buff since most people come to escape the crowds. Plus the views are spectacular and not just the naked bodies.

St. Lucie Inlet State Reserve, John D. MacArthur Beach State Park, St. Vincent Wildlife Refuge may be other spots you'll find nude activity. Again, find seclusion and you should turn out ok.

South Beach has offered the ability to strip down or at least roam topless. Without searching we found a couple of nude beaches in Florida that many were enjoying. Nudists have made South Beach in Miami Beach a popular sunbathing center.

Florida Nudist Resorts:

There are a number of nudist resorts in Florida that will allow you nude folks to enjoy yourselves without worrying about the police or others.

We are not nude experts and may never be, but understand that some folks enjoy this. My best recommendation is to google nudist resorts in Florida and see what you come up with. We found a number of informational sites that had a lot of FREE goodies for folks who were searching for nude resorts.

Here is a short list of nudist resorts that may peak your interest...

• Tampa area offers Lake Como Family Resort, Caliente Nudist Resort, & Paradise Lakes.
• Orlando has a number of resorts as well including, Cypress Cove and Sunny Sands. Two of the more prominent spots.
• Up in the Panhandle is Sunburst Resort.
• There are some RV parks that offer nude activities as well. Hidden River, Sunny Oaks Haven, and Sunnier Palms are a few we found.
