Choosing the right hotel for your discount Florida vacations will be a snap!!
Most of us have stayed in a hotel before. If you have not, then welcome! Our Florida beachfront rentals guide
will provide some reminders on what you should look for when choosing a hotel for your
trip to Florida!
We will keep this really simple for you since you are probably familiar with
renting a hotel. You know what they look like and so forth.
However, if you pick
the wrong one, you could find yourself in a dirty, off the beach, out of the way,
lacking anything you needed place that will cause misery for the week. We don't want
that, now do we?
I am sure you know what a hotel room looks like. One room with a bathroom. If you get
a suite, you can have more than one room. If privacy is your thing, then a hotel
room may not be your best choice.
But, if you are like us, and don't
spend a lot of time in your Florida hotel, then it could be the cheapest way to go!!
Before you make your reservations, read our tips for choosing Florida beachfront rental Hotels...
- Make sure you know where the hotel is located in relation to everything. We have
stayed way out of the way before. We have stayed off the beach. It was ok, but
should have done a bit more questioning/homework.
- What amenities do you need? A kitchenette, seperate rooms, connecting rooms,
deck overlooking the ocean- where you can drink your coffee while taking in the
ocean breeze, a pool, beach access, additional services (like a shuttle service or
breakfast), or anything else you think you'll need.
- Are you going to go with a national chain or a local hotel. Be wary of local
hotels. Make sure you read other consumer reviews. They can be a real mess, even
though they look fabulous in a picture.
Some of the national chains you might want to look for include...
Holiday Inn, Marriott, Hilton, Fourseasons, & Radisson. These are great for choosing
your Florida beachfront rentals.
- Do you want Florida beachfront rentals or would you settle for something
not overlooking the ocean? Remember, you don't go on vacation too often (or maybe you do?),
so this is one area where we don't mind spending a few extra bucks. It makes things
so much easier and nicer when your Florida beachfront rentals are right on the beach!
We have stayed in places where we were on the side and it was still nice. We could sit
out on our deck and still watch the sunrise, sunset, hear and see the ocean and beaches.
Just talking about it puts me there!!!!
Pick your price and stick to it. Remember, you get what you pay for with a hotel.

into a major headache if you aren't careful.
