Enjoy Pics of Florida Beaches Wildlife You'll Share Your Vacation With!
Deciding to have some fun we wanted to show some pictures of
the Florida beaches wildlife.
There are many reasons people travel to Florida. Not only for the
beaches and attractions, but also for the history, beautiful scenery,
and wildlife.
It is actually fun to spend some time knowing what creatures, flowers,
and other wildlife you'll be sharing your vacation with.
Remember, we are visitors to their habitat, so treat them and their home
well.
Please, be known that I am not a biologist or wildlife expert, so if I have
a species wrong, forgive me. I just enjoy spending my days on the beach
with many of these animals and fish.
This list is not an end all. There are thousands of different Florida beaches
wildlife. These are the ones that we see on a regular basis around the ocean
and Florida beaches.

It's not Florida without a pelican roaming the shores. Hunting for their next meal or just enjoying the view as they perch on a post, the pelican is to Florida like the Yankees are to New York.
Make sure you get plenty of pictures of these birds as they love to spread their wings or just pose for the camera.

The seagull is a lot of fun to share the beach with. Enjoy their playfull chirping, football type formations, and swarm of them if you decide to throw out some food.
I have never visited a Florida beach without sharing it with seagulls.

Fun to watch bury themselves in the sand, not fun to step on as they'll pinch your foot, and fun to eat all you can at the local eateries.
Crabs of all species may or may not be abundant depending on the Florida beach you visit. We see them more on the Atlantic/Eastern shores than the Gulf Coast.
Funny story - Father-in-law is in the ocean and steps on something. Everyone was sitting on the beach as this grown man of nearly a half a century is jumping up and down screaming his head off.
It seems a large crab has attached it's monster sized pincher to his big toe holding on for dear life. It had to be the funniest darn thing I've ever seen and as a son-in-law one event you never let them live down.

Dolphins are our favorite Florida beaches wildlife to see. There is nothing neater than waking up in the morning on your balcony and seeing dolphins swimming by.
My mom always had a theory (yes a theory) that if dolphins were nearby, sharks were not. Kept me feeling safe.
Hopefully you'll be lucky enough to see them. If you are up for an adventure, try swimming with them.

Shelling on the beaches of Florida is a must do. Morning walks and picking up seashells is something people of all ages love.
Although there typically isn't Florida beaches wildlife in these anymore, the once may have been. Sometimes you get lucky finding a crab or coral, or something that is still alive.

I have not personally seen a stingray in the open ocean since I was a kid, however I have seen people step on them and seen them from the shores of the Bay.
Very graceful are the stingray, but be sure to stay away from their tails/barbs that can prove to be very painful.

A beautiful creature is the Crane. A must on our list of Florida beaches wildlife. You may see these around the beaches of Florida, but we tend to see them inland.
These next few pics are of birds. I don't know much about birds, so if you want a background visit the zoo. Our goal here is to enjoy the beauty of the wildlife of Florida.

The pink flamingo is another beautiful bird you'll tend to see in Florida. At the zoo, my son loved looking at these birds.
I really liked this picture in front of a glistening waterfall. Really helps to relax looking at this pic.

Gators are a staple in Florida and hopefully you won't be in a position to see one up close and personal without supervision.
However, they are all over Florida. They are neat animals and if you get a chance to learn more about Gators, please do.

Palm trees are one of our favorite of the Florida beaches wildlife. Whenever driving to Florida, as soon as we see palm trees, we know we're close!
These are just a few of the thousands of Florida beaches wildlife you may encounter.
Some other popular ones not listed here include the Manatee, jellyfish (watch out
for these babies), sharks, other fish, red tide (a bacteria), plenty of beautiful
plants and flowers, and so much more.
