Airline Travel Tips

Here are some valuable tips that we always follow when flying...

Bring kid travel games & things to do for you adults. DVD players, i-pods, laptops, books, magazines, etc...

Know your way around the airports you're flying to. If you happen to have layovers and otherairline issues, be sure you know what there is to do while there.

Determine if a cheaper flight is worth the hassles. Layovers, multiple connections, mixedseating on the plane all can be pains in the rump.

Pack wisely so you can keep your valuables and necessities with you.

To follow up that, mark your luggage accordingly. It will ensure you are able to locate your bags quickly upon arrival.

Know your meal options, bring snacks, wet naps, neck rests, and other items you deem necessary.

Arrive early and have a back-up plan. You may show up one day to take off and the airlineis out of business. We're exaggerating here (somewhat), but expect for bad things to happenand you'll be prepared. The last thing you need to do is rush and stress out - I mean it's yourvacation (unless this is business travel).

Dress comfortably.

Be nice and polite.Number one, the folks who work hard for the airlines put up with a lot of crap from us travelers. A nicesmile and friendly voice can go a long way. Secondly, don't be the jerk on the plane who talkstoo loud. A.K.A. Ken Tarmack for you Bob and Tom listeners. This is annoying and nobody wantsto hear you.

Finally, know your way around each airport. A map can actually help as some airports in and outof Florida are monstrous. Do some light shopping, grab some food and drink, or find a quietplace to relax til your next flight.
