**Where we stay in Clearwater:

On the North end of Clearwater in rental homes (cheaper and nicer than hotel!) Go in with a couple and you have a house on the Clearwater Florida beaches or bay for cheaper than a hotel. Also privacy!!!!!!!

**Where We Love to Eat in Clearwater:

Must go to Crabby Bills! There has been one built in Clearwater near pier 66, but this is not the original!

You have to go to the one in Indian Rocks, which is a short 15 minute drive south to Indian Rocks!

On the way you go past mansions and beautiful views! Make sure you get your picture taken while you are there! Visit the gift shop! The shirts are cool! More fun is to take a boat to Indian Rocks! Dock and go eat! They have the BEST prices on seafood! There crab legs are to die for!!!!!!!! Hush puppies awesome! Key lime pie rocks!

**Other Places to Eat in Cleawater Beach Florida:

Must eat at Arigatos (not sure of spelling) off of US 19. It is a Japanese restaurant were the cook the food for you with tricks! It definitely beats Benny Hanna’s! The best egg rolls!

Frenchy’s Saltwater Café right on the North beach is a hopping night spot and great place to catch lunch! The She Crab soup is a must have! They have local bands every night and a lot of reggae!

For those Cincinnatian’s there have put a Skyline Chili on the main strip across from Pier 66! This is Keith’s savior on vacation when he is missing home!

Also, there is nothing like eating at Waffle house on the Clearwater Florida beaches! Right down on south end strip!

A Clearwater Florida must have! On gulf to bay (before you arrive in downtown Clearwater there is a little ice cream stand called Dairy Kurl! They have the best ice cream! It is always busy and open late!

**Things to do in Clearwater:

Ever night (Friday/Saturday) is the best go to Pier 66. They have unique vendors selling things and live music right on the pier. There is sand volleyball/food/etc! They also have a great playground for kids!

If you want to watch a game or have some beers go to Jugs and Mugs a local wings place

Rent or take a bike and go bicycle riding on Florida beaches. Take the beautiful streets or take a ride on the bike trail by the bay and over the new bridge with a bike lane!!

Take a walk or run on the North end to one of the best Florida state parks! Beautiful area and nothing but you, the Clearwater Florida beaches, and sand!

Check out Hulk Hogan’s beautiful French castle mansion (update: If you watch the show, not sure where he's living now). Right on Tampa Bay! You can see if from a boat easier. Also check on Lisa Marie Presley’s house on the bay and other famous celbs!

Close to Orlando Florida! Close to Tampa!

First timers definitely have to take the pirate ship out on the water! Tickets sold across from Pier 66. There are great putt putt course near south Clearwater Florida!

**Things to see!

If you go out early morning you are sure to see a pack of Dolphins 10-30 feet out! They come very close to the sand and they are absolutely amazing! You can sometimes see them play! Sometimes boating in the bay they will come close to the boat! You will also see manatee in the bay!

Other things to do in Florida and Clearwater include, take a 20 minute boat ride out to the state park private island (I can’t remember the name!) It is a private beach. Take your beer, grill, and sunscreen and do nothing! If you go on a week day there is usually no one there! It is like being on a deserted island.

**Shopping in Clearwater Beach Florida:

Must go to Mandalay surf shop and gear for surfing Florida or just some souveneirs. The busiest Walmart in the US is off of US 19!
