10. Daytona Beach
Mucho activity that makes this one of the best beaches in Florida destination.

Known as party central for college spring breakers or a hangout for leather-clad motorcyclists, Daytona Beach might seem a somewhat intimidating destination.

Put your preconceived notions aside and allow us to introduce you to another side of Daytona. In recent years the city has made a huge effort to change its image. This is evident in the multi-million dollar clean-up and renovation of the beachfront area which includes Ocean Walk Village.

9. Sanibel Island

8. Panama City Beach
My favorite Spring Break Destination & one of the best beaches in Florida I've been to more than once.

Panama City Beach, with its trademark white sand and warm Gulf waters, attracts everyone from spring breakers to retirees, singles to families. As a result, the city offers a range of activities for all ages and interests.

Families won't want to miss the huge Shipwreck Island water park or the hundreds of animals and plants at Zoo World. Golfers will find plenty of top-rated courses and outdoor types can canoe, fish and nature walk at St. Andrew's State Nature Park and so much more!!!

7. Sandspur

Nature lovers paradise. Apparently this is a one of the great places to go camping on Florida beaches.

Here is what one traveler said about this region of Florida...
We visited several Florida beaches in the Keys on our recent trip to Florida, and Bahia Honda was definitely the best.

We arrived at 9:00 am, and were literally the only people there. It was amazing to have such a perfect beach all to yourself!

At Bahia Honda, the best beach is definitely the Sandspur Beach - when you enter the park, follow the signs past the Sandspur campground to this beach.

The water is crystal clear and warm...and there are a lot of interesting things to see. We took a great nature hike at this beach as well. Definitely worth a visit and one of the top 10 Florida beaches!

6. Key West's Smathers Beach
We have already dedicated an entire page to Key West because of how great we think it is and definitely one of the best beaches in Florida.

5. Clearwater Beach
Boaters Paradise! This is our favorite spot and if you want to compare Florida beaches, Clearwater is the one we enjoy the most out of all our Florida discount vacations - but that's just us.

4. Lovers Key Beach - Fort Myers Florida
Great for romantic Florida vacations

Fort Myers beach and Lovers Key are an excellent choice and from the small amount of time we spent there, it's fair to say that this beach is beautiful and a great choice for the travel channel Florida best beaches.

3. Palm Beach
Live the high life!! We spent our honeymoon in Palm Beach. Old money is what drives this authentic and very wealthy town. I would recommend it, but it isn't the best for discount Florida vacations.

We do recommend driving around town and on the beaches A1A Florida taking in the million dollar mansions, yachts, breathtaking views, shops, and people.

2. Siesta Key
Well deserved ranking!!
Our most recent vacation to Florida was on Lido Key which was just next to Siesta Key. What a great place this was. If you want to compare Florida beaches to this one, good luck, it was perfect!! Also, one of the best beaches for shelling in Florida

And the #1 vote for best beaches in Florida is...

South Beach Miami!

People watching is a great pastime in Miami's South Beach, which draws celebrities and beautiful people in skimpy swim attire to see and be seen.

The wide and fine, white sand-covered beaches are popular spots for fashion photo shoots, so you're sure to see models. The area is known for its hip clubs and wild nightlife as well as numerous excellent restaurants.
