Get Your Best Beach Body in as Little as 12 Weeks- Yes You Can Do It!!!

No fad diets here. This page is dedicated to helping you get your best beach
body within weeks. It does take work, but the rewards far outweigh anything
you would go through during the journey.
This page is here to offer you a blueprint on how we got into our best beach body
shape before our vacations and sustained it afterwards. What we did was
follow an expert who offered the advice, tips, and mental & physical strength that we needed
to get into shape.
Therefore, none of these tips are our own so to speak. We aren't here to reinvent
the wheel, just get into shape and stay healthy, energetic, confident, and loving life!!
If you have ever tried various diets or struggled to get into the shape you've always
wanted, then listen up!!
Personally, I have followed this system since I started exercising. I also studied
Exercise Science in college (yes, it is a major) and have had a passion for health and fitness
for a long time. So, you could say I know a few things.
However, our experience of getting
your best beach body only goes so far, so we'll provide you with our mentors and direct you
to spots where you can get more information. This will get you started though.
First rule is...K.I.S.S. (keep it simple silly). I love this saying.
People, including myself, believe that success is complicated. That we must
learn confusing and complicated techniques to get our best beach body.
In fact, that
goes for anything in life. This is what we're taught. Unfortunately, success
is about finding what works and following it to a tee.
For example, building this website
follows that exact strategy. This blueprint will maintain this first rule.
It doesn't mean
that you won't work hard, that you won't have to change a bit. It does mean that
the plan/system is simple to follow and all it takes is you. Your desire, effort,
perserverence, and passion!!
So, let's get started on the journey of getting your best beach body
(Angie, my beloved wife, is going to guide you through this section)...
Here is a list of criteria so to speak to get you going...
- You have to WANT to change. All you have to do is decide to do it, but
you must mean it. You can lie to anyone except yourself.
- This leads into picking a system and sticking to it. There are many great systems out there. We like this one and the tips we provide seem to fit into the majority of the systems out there. Just stick to it- they work!!
- Find something that motivates you. For instance this vacation and walking around
in a swimsuit. That motivates us everytime. For me, it was a contest we did at
work. I work with all women and we all were tired of being out of shape. I ended up
winning a few hundred bucks. Vacation, wedding, reunion, etc... will get you motivated.
- Set your goals ahead of time. Write them down. Keep them in a place you'll see them
everyday (ie. bathroom mirror). Make sure your goals are attainable but not too easy.
- Take pictures (sorry, I can't currently find mine- not joking- we'll get them up as
soon as I find them).
Yes, this can be embarrasing, but it is an important motivator. Do a before and after.
Also, put up pictures of what you want to look like. Remember there are no limits so don't
be afraid to shoot for the stars.
- Keep a Journal. Keep track of what you eat, your workouts, and grade yourself on how you
did each day. Be Honest!!
- Have Fun! You will grow physically, but most importantly mentally.
This may sound cheesy, but it's true. Once you accomplish your goals of getting
the best beach body, you will have the confidence to be a success in any area of your
life.
Proven Fitness & Health Tips & Strategies...
1. Eat 5-6 small meals per day. Yes, you eat more often, about every 3 hours.
This speeds up your metabolism which burns fat faster. This doesn't mean
eat fast food six times per day. It means eat healthy, balanced meals.
We use "Eating For Life," by Bill Phillips to get high quality recipes so we didn't get
bored. This book offers numerous choices for eating healthy and what you can
eat. You will be surprised at what you can eat!! Try whatever you want, but we
know this works.
Oh, we almost forgot, you only follow this plan 6 days of the week. One day is your cheat
day.
You get to eat anything you want. Splurge, it is ok. Many people think this is wierd,
but it's actually beneficial to your body. As your body gets used to this new way of eating,
a cheat day will do two things.
One, it allows your body to acclimate to your new best beach
body diet.
Two, it keeps you motivated. If you pig out on your favorite foods, you will
realize how crappy you feel and will be ready to start eating healthy again. It is a psychological
thing. Trust me it works.
2. Find a workout regime that fits your best beach body desires. What do you want? Lose weight?
Build muscle? Tone? A combo of these?
The program that works best for us is a mix of
lifting weights and cardio. Since we are busy people, we use a plan that gets us done with
our workouts within 45 minutes.
We did Taebo, ran with our dog, & did various exercises for cardio first thing in the morning.
On opposite days, we would lift weights. We alternated upper body and lower body every
other day.
Once you get through the soreness, you'll start to feel more powerful and energetic.
Try it, you'll see!!
My husband follows many different workout plans, but that is because he gets bored easily.
The one that he always returns to or starts with is "Body For Life," again by Bill Phillips.
Yes, we love him! He knows his stuff and practices what he preaches.
3. Have Fun & Stick to It! This is most important. Also, make sure you have support while building your
best beach body and have fun during the journey. There really is gold at the end
of this rainbow.
Next, I am going to provide you with my own testimonial. How I got my best
beach body and looking forward to sliding into my bikini beach swim wear.
First, here are the books we followed and the products we used...
- Body For Life- Provides you with great information regarding getting into shape.
Gives you a basic outline to prepare mentally, what foods are ok, and a workout plan
to get you into best beach body shape. It is one way, but not the only way. Use what
works for you.
- Eating For Life- This provides countless recipes and ideas on what to eat and how
to prepare it. Provides additional tips, stories, and resources.
- Nutrition products. Try a search under supplements for various brands and reviews.
If prices seem high, then check eBay. We have found excellent deals on all kinds
of nutrition supplements there.
- You can find information online by searching. There are millions of people working
to get their best beach body. Try
bodyforlife.com.
If you don't trust us
then, you may want to hear it from others. It also provides recommendations, support, and
stories to help you get your best beach body ever.

Update: We have just read a book about fitness that we had to mention...
Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle, by Tom Venuto, is quite simply one of the most complete, detailed, and precise guides to fat loss that I've ever seen.
This product and its accompanying bonus volumes is well worth the $37 price tag, probably even twice that amount, but you have to make the commitment to utilizing it.
If you are serious about losing weight or building muscle, are sick and tired of "spinning your wheels" and going nowhere, then I highly recommend his book.

How I lost 35 pounds, gained muscle tone, & energy...
I started my diet in October 2004. It was a spare of the moment decision, but something
that I wanted to do for a while.
When I first met my husband we went to Florida and
he was big into working out. In eight weeks we slimmed down and had our best beach
body for the trip. Over time, we got busy and stopped working out, so I gained weight.
It was time to get into shape again and the contest we put on at work was just the motivation
I needed. It was our very own "Weight Loss Challenge!"
Money was involved so that helped
too. Every four weeks we would add to the pot and the winner got all of it at the end.
We began the journedy of obtaining our best beach body by taking before pictures and
measurements, writing out
our goals, and finding our plan.
Luckily, I had done this before, so I had a bit of a
head start. Plus, my husband has followed health and fitness for a long time, so he knew
how to help me also. Once you know how to do it and figured out why, the rest is
easy to follow.
My weight at the start was 182 lbs. I have never been a skinny minny, but
I had never let my weight get that high.
So, off I went to build my best beach body. It was tough for the first week or two. I was
sore, my energy hadn't quite lifted yet, but I was feeling better and seeing results already.
I just followed the plan each and every day. I had great support from my husband and family.
Now, I love to eat, but on this plan it was easy. I was never hungry, always had great
food to eat, and fealt better.
Anyhow, after the 12 weeks we took after pictures, retook the measurements, and allowed
the judges to decide who had the best beach body. Here was the verdict...
They announced that I had lost 35 lbs!!!
& Lost 6 inches off waist, thighs, and hips!!!
I also won!! Hey, the money was nice, but didn't seem to matter as much because
I won in so many ways that the money was far down on the list!
I was so proud that
I had accomplished something. I blew away my goals and couldn't believe it. I worked hard, but
had fun and grew along the way.
I have gained mental strength, physical strength, energy, long term health, confidence, and vitality.
I am still not where I want to be, but now I have gotten accustomed to the formula.
It actually works!!
My reminder tips to get your best beach body are to have fun, plan ahead, stick to the plan,
keep the faith when you hit roadblocks, and keep going.
Here are a couple of my favorite sayings and things I did that helped.
- I put up a picture of Monica Brandt. She's a fitness model and very gorgeous. It helped
remind me where I want to be. It didn't come easy for her either. My husband likes pics of
Arnold from his bodybuilding days.
- My goals were right on my desk. I read them everyday.
- "A moment of pleasure is worth Days of regret."
- You're only as strong as you believe in your heart that you can be!"
That rounds out our best beach body section. We hope we have inspired you
just a little bit.
