Beaches of South Walton Florida

The beaches of South Walton Florida is comprised of 14 beach communities located along Northwest Florida's Gulf Coast (including Sandestin, Seaside (made famous by "The Truman Show"), Grayton Beach, WaterColor, and Rosemary Beach).

This Florida beach destination is a convenient drive from many regional cities including Atlanta, Birmingham and Nashville.

Pristine beaches with public access, 40 percent protected land and rare coastal dune lakes make it perfect setting year round for outdoor activities, such as kayaking, biking and hiking.

The destination also boasts several award-winning restaurants and a variety of accommodations, from resorts to beach rental houses.

This is a great little tidbit from a friend of ours who lives on the beaches of South Walton Florida. She absolutely loves it there and thinks it is an amazing place to both live and travel to.
