There are three places that if the budget fits we have been told are fabulous:

• The Ritz Carlton. With this chain elegance, superb comfort, and wonderful service have becomethe staple to it's visitors. You may spend a few dollars more, but the ocean views are spectacular,accommodations are outstanding, and you do have some choices based on your budget.

• Amelia Island Plantation. Offering first rate golf, tennis, and spa facilities, we have personallynever heard a bad thing about this resort. Very family friendly, amazing ocean view stays, a variety of outdooractivities, and too much to list make this a top choice.

• A century-old B&B, the Hoyt House is an old-style Victorian that will make for a cozy vacation. Having thatantique flair and great for a two-plus day Florida getaway you'll receive gourmet breakfasts, a pool and hot tub, and closeproximity to the historic district.
